The Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service is working to improve facilities for customers who visit its Burgh Quay Offices. A new reception facility is being created which will be dedicated to customers and visitors. The existing entrance is being retained for staff only.

The work is part of a wider programme of measures designed to improve its services to customers using our Burgh Quay Offices. For example, plans are also being developed for the introduction of an on-line appointments system for both registration and visa re-entry applicants which will enable customers to know with certainty when they will be dealt with, thus completely eliminating the need for people to queue for these services. The development of the new reception facilities is a prerequisite to these plans.

The works are scheduled to commence on site on 12th July and are planned to be completed by early September. The works are timed to minimise the amount of disruption caused to customers and where possible the noisier tasks will be carried out outside of public opening hours. We would ask you to bear with us during the period of the works which are designed to improve our services into the future.
