The Department of Justice have announced that two Irish Citizenship Ceremonies will be held on the 5th and 6th of December  in the Convention Centre, Killarney, Co Kerry.

This is welcome news for many non-EEA nationals who have been anxiously waiting to be granted their Irish citizenship. The approval letters are arriving to our immigration departments at Sinnott Solicitors Dublin and Cork on a daily basis and we are delighted to see the Department of Justice approving such a large volume of applications, most of which have been waiting between twelve and twenty-four months for a decision.

Applicants who have received the approval letter from the Department of Justice notifying them of the intention of the Minister for Justice to grant them Irish citizenship should submit the requested documentation and pay the fee without delay in order to be included in the citizenship ceremonies in December. Sinnott Solicitors Dublin and Cork will be well represented at the ceremonies, and we congratulate all of our clients who will be granted their Irish citizenship next month.
