In addition to any claim that you may have for your physical injuries arising from the car accident, you may also have sustained psychological injuries.
Often our clients present with various psychological injuries after a car accident and it becomes necessary to claim compensation for their psychological injuries as well as the physical injuries sustained.
Symptoms typically include nightmares, sleeplessness, post traumatic stress, nervousness, an inability to carry out tasks that were previously not a problem. In addition to obtaining a medical report from your treating Doctor or Orthopaedic Surgeon it may also be necessary to obtain a Psychiatrist’s report in relation to any psychological injuries that you may have sustained as a result of the car accident.
